Challenge Wanaka Triathlon

The world's most scenic iron distance triathlon (226km), set against the stunning lake and mountain backdrop of the Mount Aspiring National Park in New Zealand's South Island.

Described by athletes as one of the best events on the international circuit, Challenge Wanaka’s terrain, remoteness and honesty of the course makes it one of the most memorable. Athletes from around the world come to Wanaka every year to test themselves over 226k of swimming, biking and running through Wanaka’s stunning surrounds.
