The spacious vacation rental is the perfect option for a Summer holiday in Wanaka, with a tennis court, swimming pool and large gardens for some backyard cricket! Grab your racquets and get out on the court for a friendly game of tennis, before enjoying a dip in the swimming pool on a hot Summer’s afternoon. Then once you’ve dried off, enjoy a cool beverage in the outdoor entertaining area, with outdoor sofas to relax on and a BBQ to cook up an alfresco feast for the family. The large 4-bedroom property has multiple living areas within, making it a great option for extended families looking for space to spread out and enjoy. The open plan kitchen, living and dining area opens up to the garden, with a separate media room adjacent giving the children an escape while the adults mingle and catch up over a delicious Central Otago Pinot Noir. There is also a pool table – another great activity to keep you entertained if the weather isn’t playing ball! A large log burner in the main living area helps keep things cosy in winter, while a gas fireplace adds ambience and warmth to the media room.

The property’s 4 bedrooms are split over two floors – the master with its own ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe is on the ground floor, with views of the garden and mountains to enjoy. There is a second super king bedroom on the ground floor with use of a separate bathroom with shower and bathtub – perfect if you like a soak after a day on the slopes. Upstairs, an additional 2 bedrooms – one super king and one twin – share the use of another tiled bathroom. This holiday home is situated 800m from lake access, or 1km from the popular Beacon Point beach. From there, walk, run or bike the lake track into the town centre for a coffee and lunch before heading home for a dip in the pool, or in the lake if you prefer. There is plenty of off-street parking for cars or boats. The minimum stay requirement at Sanctuary on Beacon is 5 nights.
