Lakeside Road is a spacious, family friendly holiday home situated a stone’s throw from the lake and an easy walk into Wanaka town centre. The contemporary vacation rental property is split over three floors, boasting a large, open plan living zone taking up the entire middle level of the house which enjoys views of the lake. Here you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table and multiple separate seating areas – perfect for families or groups looking for space to spread out. The living area has two fireplaces – a cosy open log fireplace and a gas fireplace – creating a warm, ambient environment to allow for some serious unwinding and relaxation! In the warmer months, guests can sit out on the front balcony and enjoy a cool beverage while watching the sun set over Lake Wanaka, or cook up an alfresco feast in the BBQ area in the garden at the rear of the property while the kids play on the lawn. If you enjoy a sauna, there is one on the ground floor, plus some exercise equipment if you like to keep up the gym routine while you’re away on holiday. There is also a pool table and table tennis table for a friendly family competition!

The four main bedrooms are on the top floor, with the large master bedroom enjoying amazing views of the lake & mountains. This room has its own ensuite bathroom, where guests can relax in the bathtub and look out to the lake. The remaining three bedrooms share the use of a large family bathroom with another bathtub and a shower, plus a separate powder room. The laundry is also on this level, with a washing machine and dryer for guests to use. The fifth bedroom is located in the separate self-contained apartment attached to the ground floor, which has its own kitchenette, bathroom, laundry and living space with a television. Location is definitely a big selling point of this property, with the lake literally over the road. The marina is closeby, making this perfect for guests with boats or jetskis, while the town centre is within easy walking distance for those that want to go into Wanaka and sample some food and drinks at some of the amazing cafes, restaurants and bars on offer here. Why not rent bikes and head off around the lake to find a quiet, private swim spot to enjoy? The minimum stay at Lakeside Road is 4 nights.
